The Mission Cincinnati is a dynamic young Anglican church plant growing in inner-city Cincinnati. Our neighborhood of Evanston enjoys many community assets while facing many visible Gospel needs. Evanston’s median income is approximately $23k/ year with some census tracts falling as low as $8/year. There are hundreds of at-risk youth in our community who are not a part of any church, lack mentorship relationships, job-skills training, or a vital connection to Christ. We desire to fill this void and build bridges through the church to connect our neighborhood’s assets to the greatest needs.

We are partnering with Urban YoungLife of Greater Cincinnati, a non-denominational parachurch organization that reaches unreached high school students by starting midweek “clubs” in public high schools where life-on- life relational ministry takes place. Our Matthew 25 Initiative will allow us to:

  1. Start a brand new Young Life club at Walnut Hills High School, located in our neighborhood in partnership with our church.
  2. Mentor more Young Life leaders by bringing 2 Urban YL leaders onto our team as Mission Residents.
  3. Increase our church’s outreach and service to our neighborhood.

We need your help to empower more people to transform lives, one high schooler at a time.
